Peace Corps Project Planning Workshop

Recently, my Moldovan counterpart and I took part in a three-day Project Planning Workshop with Peace Corps.

Like nearly all Moldovan villages, ours has an informal dumping site in a field just outside the village, which continues to expand over a greater area. With what we learned in this workshop, we are now prepared to plan a project that not only involves creating a formal, enclosed landfill but also aims to educate villagers of all ages on recycling, composting, and the consequences of poor waste management. I’m excited to apply my instructional design skills to community development in a village of 2,000 people.

Now, time to write the grant proposal! Stay tuned for what comes next.
